What i did in 2004…

I recovered from an encounter with a motorbike (and the road).

I lost Akira and Jean-Francios as housemates.

I found Ms. Pixie as a new housemate and friend.

I lost two boys. Havent really had a good look under the couch y’know...they may yet turn up.

I lost two friends, one to Australia and one to forgetfullness and unspoken expectations.

I became a trainer.

I became a supervisor.

I completed one semester of a counselling course, wrote 4 essays and did well (to my own surprise!)

I went to Sado Island and saw the Taiko Festival and Romanian Gypsy band ("From Romania, for you!")

I bought a computer, my beautiful, sexy little Mac, the best thing ive ever bought, better even than that fab silver biker jacket from Agnes B.

I went to my first Ball in a truly fab dress!

I hosted my lil bro for 3 months, god knows when we are going to live together again, that was great!

I finally realised that i could do something other than teach, that possiblities were out there, and now that ive started moving towards them, i see so many more.

I found my dream.

I came home for Christmas.

Not a bad list i think. The one thing that i really wanted to do and still havent managed to accomplish yet is to stop writing 1997 as the date automatically...why that year in particular i do not know.

  Happy New Year ... what a list for 2004!! If anyone had told me on January 1 2004 that by December 31 I would have a new car and become a first home owner I would have thought they had rocks in their head!! So who knows where both of us will be by December 31, 2005. By the way groovy blog. Cheers.
