Wow! The happiest i have been all day is walking home in the absolute, pouring, bucketing rain. My sneakers were soaked by the time i had walked out the station and crossed the train line. They were squelching and overflowing by the time i turned away from following the train tracks and started along the little back street that leads all the way down to home. The whole street was flowing. Other streets were flowing into it. I usually try to avoid the puddles, but the rain was hitting so hard it was bouncing up off the road again and so there was really just no point. I got to the front of the apartment ... and i just couldnt go in without checking the river. So i turned down the street to the river, and as if to celebrate, the rain just got harder. The river was up so high, flowing so fast, wow. I stayed and watched for a minute and then finally headed home. And now im watching it all happening all over Japan on NHK. I should probably pay them something next time they come by. I love typhoons. Have i told you that already?

AND guess what? Theres another coming!!!!

Wanna watch? Go here! or here!
