Christmas Day, 2004, breakfast time

Well first of all, damn, how about those waves Indigo Girl! Did we see that coming or what? Well no, actually not to be honest. But im freaked! I had a series of dreams about a big tidal waves coming in and threatening just a month or two back, and so did the Indigo Girl… yeah....

So anyway, all round its been, well, smooth, easy, no hassles. The last time i came back i was so culture-shocked, there was so much that spun me out in those first few days, so so here we are a week later, and still no culture shock, and ive figured it out. When i went to Hong Kong with MJ, when i went to Indonesia with the Indigo Girl, there was also no shock, and ive come to the conclusion that there is no shock this time either because its just strange enough to be comfortable. Its so much like being in an unfamiliar country… I seem to have spent a lot of time just sitting in the car watching the city go by, wishing for a video camera and a wicked drum and bass background to capture the surrealness of the gorgeous houses, huge yards, abundant ‘nature’, its all big and flat and huge, ... yeah, i guess i am a bit shocked.

Abundant cups of tea, lots of smoke breaks, big doses of family, lots of sunshine. I miss my music, my little flat, my girls, thinking about you all heaps but enjoying the break from the computer too! Stay warm folks, big hugs and kisses.

  Found one, found one!!! Very happy!!! Went to ‘wild child’ and got fully frocked up, blew $500 almost on two fabulous dresses, cant wait to wear them! Ill send photos!

  Am still looking for a suitable frock here but nothing has jumped out at me yet.  But I have lots of new sarongs, skirts, thai pants and bikinis..  Perhaps I could throw something together out of that lot???
