We started with ‘suki’ something like this (puke warning) ‘Sarah-chan, suki’. Then after a while we graduated to ‘daisuki’. And it felt really good and warm and fuzzy. Now we do I love you in English but I still love it when he says ‘Sar-chan suki’ it makes me feel so nice and reminds me of falling in love.

Erm, I suppose it’s still a bit early for the more direct “smoochy” Japanese terms? gee. if i were brave i’d get out the shoebox of love letters from a long lost past and dig up some cool phrases for you, but i’m sorry i just don’t have the courage. here are the results of a quick brainstorm. some cute little phrases that might be a little corny. but i guess variety is the preference for you right now hey? you can mix and match and change words as you wish, but remember they mightn’t be perfecto from this second language speaker.
soba ni ite hoshii - i want you by my side
anata no koto wo ichinijuu kangaeru bakari - i think of you all day long
watashi no soba sae ireba, nandemo dekiru - i could do anything as long as you’re by my side (literally and metaphorically)
anata ni aete (aeru koto ga dekite) kouei/ureshii - it’s an honor/pleasure to have been able to meet you
kinou sabishikute nerenakatta - i couldn’t sleep last night for missing you
....yaritai - i’m hornyby the way, any tips on how to get my english os computer to be able to type in japanese? i lost my toolbar in my computer crash, and can’t seem to know where to find it…
