    Actually, I didn’t know that you can sharpen serrated knives with usual techniques. I wondered “Was that me she argued with?” but decided it probably wasn’t. I think I would have handed you the knife and watched you do your thing. Unless I was having a bad day.

      Im not sure that a normal sharpening stone would work, the flat edge wouldnt reach the grooves i suspect. Nor am i suggesting this as a “good” way to sharpen a serrated knife, you would have to be there with the cup for ages to get a good edge ... One of those ‘good in a pinch’ type tings.
