Recently…

First day (Friday) at the Restorative Justice placement was really good; it was a pleasure working together with my boss. We had a bonding session over a creating a power-point presentation, both of us sharing teaching and learning, and joint problem-solving trying to figure the damn thing out, and i think we mastered a few of its finer points. It was nice to be able to work together like that and i think it gave us a really good foundation. And I got to chat to a few other people who work there, a couple of ex-police and a blond-dreaded girl all of whom try to get housing for some of the two hundred-odd prisoners each month that are at risk of homelessness. I think its going to be very interesting! Im gonna be there 3 days a week til about August.

And today I was a change management consultant project manager, co-coordinating a group of 7 to create a blue-print for the effective uptake of the computerisation of an aged care organisation. The project is to be completed in week 11, we are now in week 5 and the clock is ticking. Study is interesting and varied at the moment, real get-your-teeth-into-it-type-stuff and im happy!
