Did anyone else see that meteor last night? I saw the most awesome sight while I was sitting out in the backyard at the VNM’s place. It was travelling from North to South somewhere between 10 and 11pm. It was bright, gold in the centre, but what attracted my attention was the trail of red flames coming out the back, like a comet! And then just as it was going over the house I saw it begin to explode, flashing bright green. The VNM had looked up by that stage, and we both saw the two or three green flashes fill the sky, reflecting off the car and fence next to us. Surely someone else saw that one!?!?!
