Categories: Meteorology Photography I heart Tokyo

It’s the biggest one in a decade, and it’s coming straight for us! Ms. Pixie got the day off work because of it, goddamnit, but I didn’t.  It was raining all day yesterday and today, but the typhoon part really kicked in for me during the last half hour of my lesson in Yokohama, the 34 floor building was swaying like a drunk teenager. I\Zm not kidding, I was on the verge of motionsickness. Finally I managed to escape from my class and head home. The wind was severe, driving the rain into the station and lifting off sections of the roof, causing leaks like this:

I caught the train into Shibuya and stopped off at Hachiko crossing to see if it was flooded, and as usual, it was. Half the people there were taking photos of the other half running away from the rain.

It was early in the evening so I suspect it will be more flooded later on tonight\Zalthough right now it’s calm and the rain has stopped for the first time in days. Is it over already? We (Ash, Ms. Pixie and I) are currently holed up at home with large supplies of red wine, cigarettes, videos and potatoes for chips to tide us over until its all done.

The weather these days is truly spectacular! I love it!
