Us lot in EllistonCategories: Adventures
Photo by Tod off Elliston Jetty
Well, logistical hurdles overcome, we are finally in Elliston, kicking back and chilling. Im so happy to be here, this is such a beautiful place. There is not a cloud in the dark blue sky, the sea is sparkling and clear, the galahs are squawking away in the gum trees in front of the silos. The cabins at the Elliston Caravan Park are perfect, nice beds and good kitchen, big fridges and verandahs. Down on the beach, the seagulls peel off and flying to a new safe place whenever we come near. There is no one else on the beach, the sand is so fine, the water is cold but the wind is warm and you are dry in no time. The Pale Ale is crisp and easy to drink, the fish are battered, deep fried and melt in your mouth. I wish we were here for longer. MJ has a lot of sorting to do while shes here, i didnt realise. Its gonna be hard for her at times here. But we are all kinda looking at the place with a “could i live here?” eye. The pub sure needs some friendlier people and some more salads on the menu…
Im missing a lot of people at the moment, if you, dear reader, are in Tokyo or Melbourne then you are probably one of them.
