Whew!

Just finished a major essay! I was determined to make it a good one, but i went a bit overboard. I typed it all up at home on TextEdit and then when i got into uni to edit it today in Word it was over twice as long as it was supposed to be! Oops! So thats why it took so long. How many times did i sit and wish there was a word count function in TextEdit…. So I spent a few hours editing it, re-organising it, stripping it right back, and finally its done! The last assignment for this subject only earned me a low credit, so I hope I have redeemed myself a bit this time around.

Last week was also spent at Mums housesitting, or rather cat-sitting, while they were away on holidays. It was a week of dial-up, virtually no virtual life, so soon, very soon, i will get a chance to catch up on your blogs and pics… but not tonight. Tonight I have to bone up on what’s involved in a placement ready for an interview for a placement tomorrow afternoon. And in the morning, I have to travel out to the Eastern edge of town to deliver that essay, then race back into town (heh, race is a very relative word when you are using public transport) for the 9am start of my first Change Management class. Very very looking forward to that one. And then the placement interview (with a Restorative Justice agency) after lunch. Im excited. And tired.

Next entry: Happy monday
